Providing Support to
Teachers, First Responders & Teens
Teachers
Exhausted, overworked, detached, struggling to stay motivated
As a teacher for 16 years, I understand the challenges educators face. Many experience long hours, heavy workloads, and pressure to please everyone, which can leave them feeling drained, emotionally exhausted, or detached from their work. Teachers may also feel a reduced sense of accomplishment, making it harder to stay motivated or enjoy their teaching.
First Responders
Emotionally drained, irritable, negative, disconnected from work
Having worked with first responders, I know this work can feel undesirable and draining. Many experience emotional exhaustion from caring for others, struggle with sleep problems, and may feel negative, detached, or irritable toward work and coworkers.
Teens
Overwhelmed, unmotivated, detached, struggling with daily life
Many teens feel unmotivated, overwhelmed, or disconnected from school, friends, and themselves. They may struggle with stress, anxiety, or low energy, making it hard to focus, complete tasks, or enjoy daily life. Some teens also feel isolated or pressured by expectations at school and at home.
Burnout is characterized by three key dimensions:
Emotional exhaustion
Depersonalization
Reduced personal
accomplishment
