Providing Support for
Teacher Burnout
Teachers
Exhausted, overworked, detached, struggling to stay motivated
As a teacher for 16 years, I understand the challenges educators face. Many experience long hours, heavy workloads, and pressure to please everyone, which can leave them feeling drained, emotionally exhausted, or detached from their work. Teachers may also feel a reduced sense of accomplishment, making it harder to stay motivated or enjoy their teaching.
How we will work together
What matters that most for you: Permission to slow down and separate what’s truly yours from what isn’t.
Together, we will work towards: helping to set boundaries, clarifying what’s in your control, and easing perfectionism with practical steps.
What this looks like
Sort What’s in Your Control – We’ll separate what you can control from what you can’t, so your energy goes where it matters.
Clarify Wants and Needs – Together we’ll look at what you really want (like balance, rest, recognition) and what needs aren’t being met.
Make Better Choices – We’ll explore your options and build small, doable actions so you feel more in control day to day.
Burnout is characterized by three key dimensions:
Emotional exhaustion
Depersonalization
Reduced personal
accomplishment
